I love this cover. Discovered it via Wicker Park years ago, like it much better than the Coldplay version. I remember driving along the Californian coast listening to the OST the entire way. It was the romantic song I’d ever listen to, at the time. In the movie, Josh Hartnett finally spots, by some miracle - after two years of heartbreak and turmoil and not KNOWING, which is the worst - the love of his life crouched on the floor of an airport terminal, and he goes to her, with the most tender expression on his face, and she turns around just as he reaches her, and they embrace, and everything is very quiet and soothing and lovely but you get this feeling that they would have died in the next second without each other.
